GIAC HP Plotter
When not in use by GIAC, we have a Hewlett-Packard DesignJet 5000 PS 42" plotter available for use by responsible students, faculty, and staff at different rates depending on paper type. The plotter rates are listed below. A member of GIAC can assist you in sending your plot or changing paper. Please call Anne at ext. 5180 or Bob at ext. 2913 to check for availability.
Both the HPGL and Postscript driver for the plotter are available for download at www.hp.com.
There is a PC with a CDROM, Zip 100 drive, and network connection installed with Powerpoint, ArcGIS, Acrobat, Word, Excel for plotting purposes. The instructions are taped on the desk of the plotting PC. Please use the preview option. We ask that the user remain to insure the accuracy of the plot or cancel the output immediately to avoid wasting paper, ink, and time.
